Mykhailo Mudryk faces four-year ban after meldonium test as FA files anti-doping charges

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been charged by the FA after a positive test for meldonium and could face a ban of up to four years. The 24-year-old was provisionally suspended in December after a sample collected in late October. He denies knowingly taking any banned substance and is exploring a contamination defence. Liverpool near Alexander Isak record transfer as Arsenal line up £43m move

Liverpool are set to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle in a Premier League record deal worth around £130–140m, with a medical scheduled for Monday and a six-year contract planned.
